We’re a finalist at the Charity Film Awards!
We’re incredibly excited to announce that our short film about the InPower Project – Radil’s Story – has been shortlisted at the 2023 Smiley Charity Film Awards.
We worked with our friends at Mediorite to share Radil’s story, and it was an honour to be able to do so. In the face of an increasingly negative narrative being perpetuated about refugees, and particularly those who arrive by crossing the Channel, sharing these human stories is an essential response.
Radil reached the UK in a small boat. He was still a child. His journey to this country had taken over a year, much of it alone. We are so proud that, once Radil had settled in the UK, our InPower Project supported him to train as a professional interpreter, giving him the opportunity to build a new life and pursue his dreams.
With over 400 films entering the Charity Film Awards, and nearly 40,000 members of the public voting, it is a massive honour to have progressed as a finalist. Thank you to everyone who supported us with their vote!
